The creative economy can be a relevant source of socio-economic growth, jobs, innovation, and trade. The creative industries are the fastest growing sector in many parts of the world and shown resilience to the impact of global economic crises.

The creative industry in Uganda, I would characterize as full of content and full of people who can produce that content, because people are passionate about what they like to do. But what happens with that content , that is the problem, we fail to find a way to properly monetize that content.

The game scene in Uganda is just starting to take flight. I believe the game industry can flourish in Uganda., the market is there and the hunger has now developed to see content coming from here.

Creative industry in uganda is funny, its really growing and bubbling. I believe that there are many creatives who believe in what they do, they just do not have a platform.

I know there are good game developers out there in Uganda but we need to come together and form a community so we can all benefit from each other.
